CONNECTING COMMUITIES FESTIVAL – SATURDAY, 25TH MARCH 10am -3pm
Attached to this newsletter you will find information in relation to a major joint fundraiser between our school, Kindergarten and Protypo Greek Centre who use our facilities on a Saturday.
It was wonderful to welcome back our students and theistaff for the 2017school year yesterday morning. There has been a palpable sense of enthusiasm and excitement as our community rekindles friendships and looks forward to the possibilities a new year presents.
Staffing arrangements for 2017 are now complete. We anticipate an enrolment of 450 – an increase of 220 in the past 5 years. The Prep enrolment currently is 77 students which will be catered for in 4 classes.
I read with interest in last week’s media an ambitious plan by the State Government to make swimming a mandatory part of the school curriculum with the aim that all students should be able to swim 50 metres by the end of their primary school years.
This week we are launching and celebrating our inaugural ‘Kindness Week’ as part of ongoing Positive Education initiatives throughout the school.
