Our admiration is extended to Michael and Lauren Parnham-Shone for their efforts in raising money for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation last weekend specifically in memory of Caoimhe O’Connor-Buckley who passed away just on one year ago.
As a result of the Victorian Parliament’s Betrayal of Trust inquiry, The Child Safe Standards come into effect for all Victorian schools in 2016. Before the end of the year, schools must be fully compliant with the Standards or have a plan in place to be fully compliant by the end of the school year.
This term all our students have been working on design and technology projects. This is your chance to visit your child’s classroom and see the results of their fabulous projects.
As the school grows and evolves we have a number of important issues that will potentially affect both students and parents. In order for staff and School Council to make informed decisions in relation to these issues we invite parents to attend a forum where their opinions will be sought and feedback will be valued.
Following on from our support of the Children’s Cancer Foundation we are pleased to welcome the ‘Camp Quality Puppet Theatre’ to our school tomorrow (Wednesday).
What a great day we had last Friday in support of the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Besides the $760 raised from gold coin donations a number of our community, together with 20 staff, also purchased the AFL socks to support the cause.
