Wominjeka!  On behalf of the students, staff and School Council I extend a warm welcome to the Oakleigh Primary School and Kindergarten website!

I am proud to be Principal of this wonderful Victorian Government school which provides an extraordinary education for all our students.  Our school is built on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. I acknowledge their Elders past, present and evolving and recognise that learning took place for thousands of years before our school and kindergarten was built.

Oakleigh Primary School enjoys an excellent reputation within the community as a vibrant school which provides a warm, safe, nurturing and engaging environment for all students to learn and develop. With the overarching goal of producing happy, healthy and resilient students, Oakleigh Primary School provides challenging and engaging programmes which allow all students to reach their full potential, academically, socially and emotionally.

It is our aim to develop strong connections with our community. We link closely with our Kindergarten and we welcome parents and carers to be active participants in their child’s learning. Our strong academic focus is supported by a wide range of extra -curricula programs such as Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, STEAM, Japanese, Instrumental music programs, Intervention and Enrichment programs.

It is important to our community that our students:
